About our company
and our water
Source for our Water
Bottled water products labeled spring water
must come from protected sources that are
monitored on a regular basis.

Our natural
Spring water flows straight from
a pristine aquifer located in the Blue Ridge
Mountains of North Carolina on the Eastern
Continental Divide.
Roaring Gap Springs
was developed following the strict guidelines
set forth by the North Carolina Department of
Environment and Natural Resources and the
North Carolina Department of Agriculture -
Food and Drug Division. Natural underground
pressure pushes our water to the surface
through an enclosed piping system which was
installed during the process of excavating
and encasing (sealing) the spring. The initial
holding tank at Roaring Gap Springs is filled
only by gravity and the previously mentioned
underground pressure forcing the water to
the surface. We do not pump water from the
aquifer, and we use no wells to collect this
uniquely precious water.

For our
Distilled water, the water is heated
to produce steam leaving the minerals
behind. The steam is then captured and
condensed for a pure, mineral-free product.

Quality Products

All of our bottled water products are ozonated. We use ozone instead of chlorine
because it leaves no residual and it does not cause a taste or odor problem. Ozone is
oxygen (O3 to be exact), which is bubbled through the water just before it goes into a
clean, sanitized bottle.

Diamond Springs Bottled Water exceeds all federal and state health standards. The
FDA regulates bottled water as a food product whereas the EPA regulates tap water
provided by water utilities. Standards of quality enacted by the
FDA for bottled water
must be as protective of the public health as the
EPA's standards (known as Maximum
Contaminant Levels) for tap water. Ensuring the safety of the water is our primary
objective in providing our product to you.
